The real magic of the Trio+ lies in its ability to create dynamic and realistic bass and drum tracks on the fly. Simply play your chords, and it instantly adapts, creating a full band sound. It provides you with a variety of different styles, and there are rhythm variations within each style. The bass and drum tracks are surprisingly realistic, and the depth of sound is impressive. You can even plug in an external audio source to play along with, which pushes the creative possibilities even further.
There are simple controls to the set the volume of the loop, the bass, and the drums. Then, there's a knob that adjusts the temp, a knob to set the genre, and a "style" knob that opens up variations within each genre setting. Just like the band creator function, the onboard looper is intuitive and easy to use. You can record and overdub your guitar parts seamlessly, and you can even use it independently without the band creator.
This 2010s Digitech Trio+ shows some paint chips, scratches, and signs of wear, but it functions 100% as it should.
